WORK EXPERIENCE

Wild Blue Technologies – Remote (October 2021 – March 2022)
As Senior Designer at Wild Blue Technologies (De Pere, WI), I worked with CPG clients like Hershey’s and Clorox on projects such as in-store displays and environmental graphics, concepts for mobile apps, web designs, corporate presentations, and other digital and print applications.

Handi Quilter – Salt Lake City, UT (Oct 2013 – Oct 2018, Nov 2019 – October 2021)
As Marketing + Creative Manager at Handi Quilter, I’ve had the opportunity to be involved with a variety of design and marketing projects. My role oscillates between managing marketing efforts, project management, art direction and design as needed. My overall responsibilities include managing the look and feel of our brand, maintaining consistency across media, copywriting and content creation, and developing strategies for both print and digital marketing. I’ve managed a creative team, helped lead marketing initiatives and deadlines, and have had a hand in all aspects of the design process. Other projects include interface design, product concepts, design and implementation of product collateral (sale sheets, catalogs, packaging, etc.), photo/videography, editing, illustration, infographics, front-end web design, vendor and freelance coordination, event and retailer support.

Utah Geological Survey – Salt Lake City, UT (Oct 2018 – Nov 2019)
Web Content Editor + Graphic Designer. My role as Web Content Editor + Graphic Designer included a redesign of several areas of geology.utah.gov to enhance useability and create an organized visual system for their extensive library of publications, maps, and research. I was also responsible for layouts of scientific articles, quarterly outreach publications such as Survey Notes, public outreach materials and interactive content, photo/videography + editing for promotional projects, content creation and management of social channels, as well as large-format signage for the Park City Sunrise Rotary Regional Geologic Park.

National Domestic Violence Hotline – Austin, TX (Aug 2011 – Oct 2013)
Communications Specialist. Concept, design, and produce print and digital materials from inception to completion. National Domestic Violence Hotline (NDVH) partners with four other national non-profit organizations: National Council on Family Violence, Texas Council on Family Violence, The National Dating Abuse Helpline, and loveisrespect.org. Primary responsibilities include fundraising campaigns (print + web), email marketing, annual reports, event branding and collateral, web design/management + digital asset creation, various video + animation projects, social media design + assets, interactive design and organization directories, various vendor coordination and project management. Worked collaboratively with copywriters and fundraising team, managed freelancers, interns and vendor relationships.

Anthologie, Inc – Milwaukee, WI (Apr 2007 – Aug 2011)
Agency Graphic Designer/Art Director. Primary responsibilities include concept, design and produce print and online material ranging from internal campaigns, brochures, product collateral, catalogs, advertising, direct mail, trade show signage, email marketing, various online media for primarily B2B applications. Work with clients on a daily basis to discern and execute effective communication strategies. Art direct and coordinate photo shoots. Worked collaboratively with copywriters and other designers and managed freelancers and interns. Research and contact photographers and other vendors for samples and price quotes. Technical work including photo editing, retouching, clipping paths, color correction. Animation and web when appropriate. Illustration such as information graphics, charts, tables, logos, and icons. Other office-related tasks such as workflow, database, and archive management. Clients include Johnson Controls, Briggs & Stratton, Badger Meter, Kangaroo Pita, Helios Solar Works, Satisloh, A/R Optical.
