During my time with the Utah Geology Survey (UGS), I designed the layout for their annual calendar, the UGS webpage, as well as the accompanying ArcGIS Storymap. This project serves as both a way to raise funds for Survey projects but also as an interactive outreach tool to educate people on the wonders of geology all around them. Each month of the calendar includes a link + QR code that takes them to a detailed story all about that month’s featured destination and unique geology. I designed the experience from start to finish through layout design, copywriting, illustrations, promotional videos, and social posts.
